Firstly, let me say this thread isn't about any of our mighty Premier League teams, just the tiny local one, right on our doorstep. So, it's not been the best season for the Tics, it started off well, turned round a few Managers, and then got docked points for the wages debacle. A complete own goal. Relegation confirmed last weekend with only Rotherham at home to come. That gives us the chance to watch the team again and say tara to the people we've got to know on the terraces. I've renewed my season ticket and look forward to all the home games and as many away ones we can get to next term. I was talking to an older fella about 10 games ago who suggested we went up too soon, another season at League 1 level would have stood us in good stead. I think he made a fair point, and ironically, we get to have another year in League 1 next season. I hope that some of the people at each others throats on here, get along to a home game next season, you never know you might actually enjoy it. Just choose 1, maybe 2 games a season, enjoy the banter between the fans and have a great day out. Latics next year ? a top 10 finish, wages paid on time, every time. A good run in the FA Cup. One can but dream :)
